SHOSHANA ROSENBERG presents ‘Swirling: Queer Hermeneutics and Jewish Thought’

In partnership with Testing Grounds

This talk explores hermeneutics and the ways it can be harnessed into a queer, relational research practice. By disrupting the author/text binary, we can see the messy ways in which we “swirl” when we come into contact with texts, transforming them while being transformed in often rapid succession.

SHOSHANA ROSENBERG is a queer, Jewish, butch academic and sex researcher based in Naarm/Melbourne. Their research focuses on queer and trans health, Jewish Studies, and sonic art. Shoshana is an academic gun-for-hire, and is completing their PhD at the Centre for Human Rights Education (Curtin).
