Angus Mcgrath presents ‘Dogboy’

In partnership with Signal.

This is a gossip-y lecture about a tumultuous affair I had with a famous contemporary artist. Set into motion by a recent, expensive purchase the National Gallery of Australia made of his work, I try to detail what the fling meant about him, me and the art world, even if the whole thing is unbelievable.

Angus McGrath is a writer and artist based in Sydney/Gadigal Land, having moved from Canberra/Ngunnawal Land. His work manifests across many forms - text, performance, sound, video - which he sees as one practice. He is interested in vulnerability, body horror, speculative fiction and the cinematic.
