Through this lecture, I will be highlighting the ways that queer, Indigenous identities are able to be explored and celebrated through different forms of art. A key part of this presentation will be sharing different First Nation drag performers who engage with gender in a non-colonial format.
Elijah Money (he/him) is a queer Wiradjuri brotherboy who's practice includes visual art, written work, installations & performance art. Strong recurring themes of colonialism, assimilation, gender, sexuality, stolen generations and identity.
