In this talk Mitchel and Waterhouse dicuss their ongoing interdisciplinary research practice, Ecological Gyre Theory (EGT), extending ecological discourses through applications to sites, contexts and practices. EGT manifests in performative and written forms, seeking alternate possibilities of knowing and being in the Anthropocene
CHANTELLE MITCHELL is a curator/poet, working with archives, ecology and the Anthropocene. She runs the SEVENTH Emerging Writers Program and produces for writing organisation Free Association.
JAXON WATERHOUSE is a fomer PhD candidate, writer and publisher, examining archival potentialities of place and greening philosophy.
